T-type clips are mainly used for overhead power lines or substations, and lead down current branches in a "T"-type manner on the main line of the busbar. There are two types of bolt type and compression type. For small cross-section wires, parallel groove wire clamps or clamping elliptical joints can also be used as T-type connections.

The meanings of the letters and numbers in the product model are:

T-T connection

Y-compression

L-bolt

The numbers indicate the nominal cross-sectional area of applicable conductors.

The holding force of the T-type clamp to the wire is not less than 10% of the calculated breaking force of the wire, but the bolt-type clamp is not less than 3% when the diameter of the wire is larger than 49mm. The DC resistance of the clip is not greater than the DC resistance of the equal-length wire, and the current-carrying temperature rise is lower than the temperature rise of the wire.

Use T-clamps with voltages of 330KV and above, with no visible corona at 1.05 times the highest operating voltage.
